Connolly will have a lot to celebrate.  Besides returning home to see his friends and family, Entourage has officially been picked up for a sixth season.  The HBO hit will return to its usual summer schedule and resume filming in February 2009.  The show is expected to reclaim its Sunday night time slot in June 2009.  




This is great news for Entourage fans, who had to wait over 1 year for the show to return due to the writer's strike.  With spoilers and on-set shots sure to come in quickly after shooting, loyal followers will only have a 2-3 month gap in between this time in new material to discuss.  


For all those Kevin Connolly fans, there is even more to celebrate.  He can be seen in two feature films next year.  The first, "He's Just not That Into You", is slated for a February 2009 release (just in time for Valentine's Day) and co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Ben Afflick, Drew Barrymore, Justin Long, Ginnifer Goodwin, Scarlett Johannson, and Jennifer Connelly.





Later in the year, Connolly will appear with Katherine Heigl in "The Ugly Truth".  

Looks like the Entourage star will have a lot to look forward to in 2009.  Unlike Columbus himself, Connolly will have smooth sailing ahead.
